Leon Danchin (1887-1938) was a French artist known for his drawings of animals especially sporting dogs.
His works sold very well in France, Belgium, England and the United States.
He drew the Sporting Dogs and Birds for which he is renowned; signed in pencil lower left and numbered 287/500
He died in World War II
