Superb Old French Oak Work Bench Console Side Table
This came from an old French house where it was used as a console table and prior to that I was told by the former owners they'd used it as a TV table !!
The wood is full of character worn with age and use
The original Wooden Screw Clamp closes up and the screw can then be seen inside the table at the end
It comes with its original metal removable clamp
The depth at the base of the feet is 39cms
This has been thoroughly treated against worm as a precaution and it has hardly any signs of old worm
It has been waxed for many years in its time as a table and has a few small old restorations made at various times throughout its life
